Escondido Family History Fair - Saturday, March 5, 9AM to 5PM.
We are planning on going and carpooling with as many as we can. We need you to let Karen Y know if you want to attend or plan on attending.
Below is data to learn about the event from Karen Y.
First, here is the speakers' schedule: http://www.escondidofhc.com/family-history-fair/
And here's the page to register (tickets are free; sent to your email)
I have asked that our CVGS table be placed next to those for the Italian Genealogy Society and the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, so we can share volunteers, and she said they could probably do that. The booths can be set up Friday afternoon or at 7:30am Saturday (that's when I'll go up). Let me know if you want to come with me. Also, we should set up a carpool list and solicit drivers... I'll pass around sign up sheets for volunteers and the carpool at our next meetings.
No word yet on what's planned for lunch...
Just FYI - here's the site for the Escondido family History Center:

Note from Susi
In the past we have either taken a lunch or if sandwich available bought the sandwich. No answer to this yet but Peanut Butter and Jelly is safe in the heat and an Apple or grapes to snack on works. Not sure if we should bring Water but suspect that is always the safest bet.
