Another New Find for Research It seems to be that lately there are many places we have forgotten or have not ever used. People tend to shy away from lots of the paid sites out there. Nor can I blame them. Having stmbled on to some myself I have the need to share. Some Old sites are modernized and have lots more data than before. This includes Archives, Museums, Newspapers, Genealogical Societies everywhere. Many took the Covid time to start the changes, some are still knee deep in transferring it to our eyes. Some are even asking for help to transfer it for all to see. One is my favorite place to chat: with my relatives in Greene Co., PA region. They have a web site and used to put out an awesome quarterly. Now instead they are putting data up for us to all see. I miss the Quarterly as many others also do. Having planned to go list a grouop of sites to dig into, rethinking it and think slower is better. Facebook has many genealogical sites. Just ask for the county and state and a society and see what Pops up. As stated early try Greene Co. PA site learn what they are doing to bring more data on line. Yes do the work to get there. Cousins and I have a Hoffman and Huffman site also on site I am moving some of my information over to LinkedIn soon. Many very well kown speakers and genealogists are on there.
