A New Site, A New Place, More Records too.

A dear Genealogy friend posted data on her blog page some information many of you will wish to learn and try.  http://scottishgenealogytipsntricks.blogspot.com/

She went to Roots Tech and interviewed Glen Meakem.

If  you have not tried her website you should. Scottish Genealogy Tips Tricks & Tidbits

Christine Woodcock thank you.

And you should learn all you can about Glen Meakem and his program. Forever.com

Then try to stay alert to free pages on various urls that cost and you can not afford them.

Find My Past  she also interviewed and they just had data free for a period of time for all to enjoy.

You did hear they have a massive accumulation of data on American (early and late) mostly, early marriages.

Remember this site is working with gathering and releasing data from Canada. Our neighbors to the north where some of our kin went and stayed and some came back. Our Foulk/Folk Line and our Silas Jones line has kin on both sides of the border today.

So your being given three new places to look for you kin.

and Find My Past.   largest collection of Marriage records for Americans, so I am told.

These are some of the reasons we need to look at Workshops and events that share data with us besides our little ole computers..

Christine thanks so much for such a great post.  One day I hope we get to meet.
