5 March 2011 Shirley Becker -Bonita Library - Census Clues

Census Clues by Shirley Becker Bonita Library 12-2:30 pm Saturday
4375 Bonita Road, Bonita, Ca 91902

Shirley will be discussing the early census's and how to find the clues to unscramble the
data that is in these early census.

Shirley writes:

My talk will be on working with the first Five Censuses Taken for the United States. At first glance they are discouraging as there doesn't seem to be very much
information, but appearances are deceiving. With patience and perseverance facts can be discovered and ancestors found. By tracking children and ages within
locations your ancestors may be discovered. Of course it helps if you have the ancestor in question found in a later census so you do have an approximate age and
idea of where he is located. I will have a handout, but would like anyone interested to contact me via email or text or call me at 619 318 2790 so I know how many
to make for the workshop.
