Magazines and quarterlies or books can be purchased from many places to help your genealogical family friend or member.
Societies wanting to make some funds could even have various people do a specific 2 hour research with a member for a fee to break brick walls or gather more information.
There are many things we can do and keep our money in the United States of America until our economy improves.
Having read that if we bought one less foreign made product every day that we could put our people back to work quicker says the power for the change is in our hands.
Genealogists are you up to this challenge, we can make a difference.

Wow so sorry to hear of your husband's illness He is such a Rock for your family. As many of our genealogist friends will tell you. Current family first!! I know I have missed many genealogy events over the years but as people have told me. The ancestors won't move while I take care of my living family.
