Yes we know she was a Grandma, but we didn't write her name down for years for fear of damaging book. Then Grandad could no longer remember which one she was. boo hoo
Label the pictures as much as you can.
Also share you pictures of your line with a siblings line ie Aunts, Uncles, cousins.
Never know what you may learn and if fire happens may save your bacon.

Remember Show and Tell this month and what you will Show and Tell, needs to be notified, to Gary Brock and Virginia Taylor PLEASE. Your most unusual gift maybe? 27 November.
I have some great links to share with you all. I just have to stop and do it. Between meds schedule, and food situation it has been interesting.
https://www.statelibraryofiowa.org/ amazing what you may find.
The other day on Facebook people asked some common questions as to where to learn about an area, etc.
My feed back is local Library, Genealogical or Historical Society, Chamber of Commerce for small towns also. Rootsweb.com has the lists to join for areas to share information and people are forgetting them or not sharing with newer members since it was down for quite awhile. One of my favorite places.
Other favorite place is usgenweb.org or worldgenweb.org. Both will keep you busy for a while.
Your state of research's State Archives.
Learn the history of the region you are researching really helps al ot. Ancient history especially if 1600's and 1700's. Boundaries changes for much of the early region.
More links to follow.
