Saturday 1 to 4 pm, Indian Heritage and Research.

Saturday 2 March, 2019, I will be presenting information on Indian Research and ones potential heritage.

One part will talk about what is there  to help us. The second part will give more information for
research methods.

It is hoped and scheduled for three more topics, later  in year, to follow this to cover all the ground.

Also trusting Donna Bradley will be well and able to come share her terrific expertise in doing research for the Tribes.  Hopefully before fall arrives, wishing her a speedy recovery.

A map will be shared that will show a good percentage of the Indian Tribes still with us.

Urls will be given, suggestions and help to learn how to do the research, what to look for in doing the research and where to look .

We hope we will see you at the meeting.

Light refreshments and drink will be available.      Bonita-Sunnyside Library, 1 to 4 pm Bonita Rd next to the Bonita Golf Course and the Sheriff's Department in the auditorium.

We also will break midway to refresh what we have discussed and share your feedback.

Between the World Wars Presented by John Finch

CVGS General Meeting
When: Wednesday, February 27, 2019 12:00 PM, PST
Where: Chula Vista Civic Center Library Auditorium

EVENT DETAILS:
Chula Vista Genealogy Society General Meeting
“Between The World Wars”
Presented by:John Finch

John has been a member of the Chula Vista Genealogical Society for nearly twenty years and has served as Library Coordinator, Program Chair and President (2004 -2006 term). Born and raised in Idaho, he retired from the U.S. Navy, 1980, and San Diego County Probation Dept., 1999.
John developed an interest in his own family history at a very young age, but did not begin an active pursuit of research until after retiring in 1999. Now, he spends several hours each week researching his family and volunteers, at this library, every Wednesday morning to assist new and seasoned researchers.
John’s topic, Between The World Wars will include an overview of the War; an examination of the efforts to provide for a permanent peace (The War to End All Wars); the impact of the war on all populations and the failure of International Treaties that followed the cessation of hostilities. A display of the various military and other records and documents will be presented which, hopefully, will aid in your research pursuits of this era.
Following the presentation by our guest speaker there will be raffle drawings, refreshments and fellowship to complete the program.

Attendance is free
